About
Land of Awz is a one-person software studio. Small tools, built properly, sold honestly.
Most software sites tell you what they've shipped. This one also tells you what it hasn't.
Who's writing this
One person writes all of it: the code, the pages, the field notes, and the replies to support@landofawz.com. There is no team, no support rota, and no one else to escalate to. That is the reason for most of the decisions below.
How the work happens here
Everything gets one address, from the day it's an idea to the day it ships or dies. A thing's stage is written on the page, never in its URL — so a link you share today still works when the thing it points at has changed its mind.
Ideas go up before they're built, half-formed and arguable, on the theory that the fastest way to kill a bad one is to describe it to someone who has already tried. When one gets talked out of, it stays up with the reason attached rather than quietly disappearing.
Progress gets logged as it happens, in dated field notes on the thing's own page, and those notes flow into the writing and the changelog. It's a build log, not an announcement channel.
The rules this site holds itself to
- No tracking. No analytics, no beacons, no share widgets, no fonts from a CDN. These pages are static files; nothing here watches you read them. The details.
- Every price shows a number and a period. On the product pages, next to what each tier actually includes, with the date it was last checked against the product's own checkout.
- One support channel, and it gets answered. No chat widget, no Discord, no forum. Every channel you open is a promise to answer it, and one person can only keep so many. How support works.
- Refunds without a form. Email and ask. I'd rather you not pay for something you don't use.
What's here
- Grove — A quiet mind map that runs from one offline file. You think, AI organizes.
- HomeCalendar — A maintenance calendar built around your actual house.
- Not Half Baked — Paste any recipe URL. Get just the recipe.
- SentLink — Your mission. One link.
Each of those runs on its own domain, with its own account system and its own billing. This site introduces them; it doesn't host them. Everything, including the unfinished half.
Getting in touch
support@landofawz.com. I reply within a couple of business days. Feature requests by email are the main reason these tools change.
